6/4/2016 The Rest of My TripI was able to post some more highlights of my trip on my Facebook page, but, obviously, I didn't keep up with them here. So here's the breakdown -- better late than never, I suppose. Headed toward the Marina through Pacific Heights. It was just a wee bit windy in the San Francisco Bay. The Cure Part Deux Thursday at the Shoreline. I was 20 people from Robert Smith!! Biggest surprises of the night? KYOTO SONG!!! No, seriously. Annnnnd COLD!!! Oh, and me remembering that at one point in time, I used to have feelings. Looks like someone's headed north into wine country... Barefootin it in the crisp, refreshing water of Maacama Creek, Healdsburg, California. I was gonna hit the road again yesterday, but then I decided to squeeze in a little pool time. How could I resist? The pool was in the middle of a private vineyard. Donner Summit: frontier brutality at its finest Sunday morning stroll at Lake Tahoe. Playing Pioneer on one of my favorite roads, Highway 395 on the eastern side of the Sierras. Sheep doin' their thang in the Bodie Hills. (For pictures of the ghost town Bodie, click here.) And the sun sets on my last day on the road. Someone's on guard in case I decide to do anything crazy like go away again.

In Case You Were Wondering . . .Sometimes Ronnie D writes funny stuff. Sometimes she writes desperate teenage prose. Most times she just slams her feeble, little woman-hand onto the keyboard in an attempt to feel something, anything. Archives
